Sharp PN-ME2 and Amino H-series support
Manage volume, screen power, and device restarts from the CMS on supported hardware. Sharp PN-ME2 displays also support firmware checks and updates, orientation settings, and scheduled power cycles and reboots.
Remote Android app updates
For the direct-install edition, future app updates can be initiated through the CMS. Supported Sharp PN-ME2 displays and Amino H-series players install updates silently and reopen with their registration and content retained. Other Android players require confirmation through an on-device installation prompt. The Google Play edition continues to update through Google Play.
Enhanced video processing and supported 4K playback
New video uploads receive Android-optimized encoding. Compatible Amino players using Native video mode can play the 4K version. Resolution and playback capabilities depend on the device and configuration.
Sensor-driven interactive experiences
Connect supported Nexmosphere buttons, touch sensors, RFID, presence sensors, and lighting through USB. Content can also send and receive UDP and TCP commands for integration with external equipment.
Smoother, more resilient playback
The new video engine improves transitions and retries failed videos. On Android 8 and above, CMS screenshots can show the video currently playing. Additional improvements reduce memory usage, allow offline startup from the stored channel, and automatically correct outdated time-zone settings.
